Strengthen and Lengthen with Core

We started the night with good old fashioned core on the floor. Making sure to use our breath in each movement and target those deep core (transverse abdominals). Twenty blissful moments engaging and truly discovering where that brain body connection is to strengthen the pelvic floor and the muscles that wrap around our trunk, helping in all everyday movements! Then we moved on to legs with a focus on the quads to start- small leg lifts to target those muscles, ending with full range movements to make sure we touched all sides. Glutes, hamstrings, and calves came next and every movement was slow and focused, again using breath to find our way. We ended with a short upper body series, and it would have been longer but we ran out of time! Time flies when you're having fun AND staying focused.
